When it comes to styling your kitchen, finding the perfect balance of function and beauty can be challenging. Today we're sharing a few of our go-to tips that will help make your kitchen sink not only look great, but be useful too! The first priorities are a large sink and a good faucet. Whether it's ceramic or stainless steel, you can never go wrong with an apron sink and a pull down faucet. We are really big fans of the coil spring faucets lately... we just love them! A very simple way to dress up your kitchen sink is with some beautiful soaps. Everyone loves a good smelling soap and hand lotion! We always like to keep a set on one side of the sink for a fun touch. One of our absolute favorite scents is the Original Fig from Murchison-Hume... trust us, you'll love it! On the opposite side of the sink we like to keep our cleaning accessories. You always want to keep any unattractive items stored away, however, cute sponges or brushes can be stored out in a ceramic container. A ceramic berry box (like this one) can do just the trick! Keeping a small potted plant near your sink is another great way to add some warmth to this area of your kitchen. Throughout the year the plant or planter can be changed depending on the season/holiday. Lastly, you can't forget the linens! The easiest sink accessories to change out are your hand towels. We love a good striped or plaid tea towel draped over the sink. This always seems to be the perfect finishing touch!
